WHAT IS NOISE POLLUTION ?
Noise pollution, also known as environmental noise or sound Pollution is the propagation of noise with harmful impact on the activity of human or animal life. The source of outdoor noise worldwide is mainly caused by machines transport and propagation systems.
WHAT IS INDUSTRIAL NOISE ?
It is sound with a high intensity sound caused by industry machines. Sources of such noise pollution is caused by machines from machines in various factories industries and mills. Noise from mechanical saws and pneumatic drills is unbearable and a nuisance to the public.
The Indian Institute of Oto-Rino Laryngology, Chennai reported that increasing industrial pollution damages the hearing ability by at least 20% workers in steel industry, who work dose to heavy industrial blowers are exposed to 112dB for Eight Hours suffer from occupational pollution.
HOW TO MEASURE NOISE POLLUTION ?
The most common measurement in environmental noise is the DB(A) level. It can be measured with a simple Sound Level Meter having an A-weighting filter to simulate the subjective response of the human ear

- Severe (61-80dB) — Difficulty in hearing loud speech, understanding conversation is difficult.
- Profound (Over 81dB) — Difficulty in hearing loud speech, understanding conversation is impossible.

HOW TO USE ROLLING DOWN FOAM EAR PLUGS
- Put roll down foam ear plug with clean fingers. Do not roll down too tight.
- Using one hand, gently lift the ear upwards and backwards. This opens the ear canal.
- With the other hand, insert the plug well into ear canal. Hold until it expands.
- The inserted ear plug should fit snugly in the ear canal.
HOW TO USE THREAD EAR PLUGS
- Reduce ear with opposite hand.
- With molded thread ends insert ear plugs well into ear canal.
- For Retrieval of ear plugs in ear canal, rotate in and out for loosening.
- Pull out cord to take out ear plugs, wash with soap and water for reuse.

HOW TO USE SAFETY EAR MUFF
- Pull the ear cups outward and place over the ears so that the cushions seal around the ears firmly on both sides of your head.
- Adjust the headband to sit on top of your head and apply even pressure on both ears for a right and comfortable fit.
- The headband must be adjusted central on head.
- The cups seal around the ears without any hair under the cushions.
